I’m Mary, the owner. I started this place because dogs needed somewhere better, and that only happens with a strong, caring team behind it. Ten years in, that part hasn’t changed.
This isn’t a corporate call center job. When you work here, you work directly with the family that built this place, on 22 acres just outside Sun Prairie, doing hands-on work that actually matters to the dogs and families who trust us.

Roles vary, but most days on the floor come back to this. It’s hands-on, it’s active, and it’s rarely the same day twice.

- Lead safe, structured group play using clear commands and calm energy.
- Guide daily enrichment: puzzles, scent games, agility, or calming exercises depending on the dog in front of you.
- Learn each dog’s personality and adjust your approach to match their needs.
- Keep play areas, kennels, and rest zones clean and sanitized throughout the day.
- Write thoughtful daily report cards for pet parents using a tablet.
- Watch for signs of stress, illness, or injury, and act on it.
- Support your teammates and help keep the place calm, professional, and fun.
